In May of 2026, our Founder - Anthony Garcia realized something important about Long Island Nightlife. He realized that the island was missing a solid foundation for electronic dance music. Venues weren't booking EDM DJ's, which left them without anywhere local to celebrate their music. With the exception of Palm Tree Festival in the Hamptons, festivals would not cross the border onto the island from New York City. It had seemed like dance music had been banned from the island. 

He decided it was time to create a movement to bring back dance music. Through the power of social media and with the help of many friends and music lovers alike, South Shore Social was brought to life. 

The mission was simple, begin by helping to promote the events that WE wanted to attend. Then the next part was pivotal, create events that we so badly craved for a long time. Events we had to go into the city to find. And now here we are continuing our efforts, but we need your help. Share with us what you want to see.
